Cross Canada Ride — heading east for 6,800km

I'd dreamt of this ride since I was a teenager, but it was only after I'd retired from teaching in 2020 and bought a gravel bike that it became a distinct possibility. In 2021, I set off from Vancouver for a 41 day trip (including a single rest day), covering the 6,800 kilometers to Cape Breton.
