11 Hessen trails – criss-cross through the countryside

Time and again, I’ve noticed the markings for the Hessen trails on my hikes. They’re not found everywhere, but you still spot them, especially because of the red lion emblazoned on the signs. They’re not advertised in any great way and I find little about them on the internet. So it's time to go on
