Historic Towns in and around Shanghai

There are quite a number of historic towns and water towns in Shanghai and neighboring areas. Some are more developed and touristy, others not quite yet, but nonetheless charming and maybe even more authentic. Either way, if you are out and about, stop by and take a look yourself :-)
