The Spanish long-distance hiking trail GR 86, also known as Sendero Ibérico Soriano, runs around the province of Soria and partly through the Iberian Mountains. It crosses the steppes in the southwest of the region, the border areas in the east and the mountains that border the Rioja in the north.
